Sheetz Labs OS (SL OS) is a personal tool that Nick Sheetz of Sheetz Labs builds and uses to run his own work: email, calendar, tasks and notes in one place at app.sheetzlabs.com. It isn't offered to the public. Only accounts on a fixed allowlist can sign in.
Google data SL OS uses
- Gmail: reads messages and labels so they show in SL OS, sends mail that Nick writes there, and applies his actions (archive, label, star, trash) back to Gmail.
- Google Calendar: reads events to show his schedule, and creates or changes events when he does so in SL OS.
- Your Google account's email address, to know which account is connected.
How it's used
Google data is used only to run SL OS for Nick: showing his mail and calendar, sorting his inbox, summarizing, and drafting replies he reviews before anything is sent. To summarize and draft, some content is processed by Anthropic's Claude API, which doesn't use it to train models. No one but Nick reads it.
Google data is never sold, never shared beyond the services that host and run SL OS (Cloudflare, Supabase and Anthropic), never used for advertising, and never used to develop, improve or train AI or machine-learning models.
SL OS's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Storage and security
Data is stored in a private database that's encrypted at rest and reachable only by SL OS's servers, and travels only over HTTPS. Google access tokens are additionally encrypted (AES-256-GCM) before they're stored.
Revoking access and deleting data
- Revoke SL OS's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Sync stops at once.
- Disconnecting an account in SL OS revokes its access at Google and deletes its stored tokens and the mail or events synced from it. Gmail and Calendar share one Google grant, so if both are connected for the same Google account, access is revoked when the second one is disconnected.
- To have any other data deleted, email the address below; it's deleted within 30 days.
